How We Started

Dr. Chloe was born and raised on a family farm in Holcomb, Kansas. Growing up in an agricultural family with entrepreneurial roots on both sides, she learned early on the values of hard work, integrity, and looking out for one's neighbors. Those small-town principles continue to serve as the foundation for her approach to patient care today. Returning home to Southwest Kansas was always the goal. Both Dr. Chloe and her husband, Shane, are Holcomb natives who knew this was the ideal community in which to put down permanent roots and raise their three daughters. Being deeply invested in the region gives Dr. Chloe a unique, personal perspective on the needs of the families she serves.  Ad Astra Audiology was founded to give back to the very community that supported Dr. Chloe throughout her youth. Recognizing a need for accessible, high-caliber audiology services in Southwest Kansas, she established the practice to ensure local residents wouldn't have to travel far to receive thorough, modern care.  At Ad Astra Audiology, every patient is treated not just as a client, but as a neighbor and a valued member of the Southwest Kansas community.

Driven by the goal of opening a comprehensive private practice, Dr. Chloe intentionally sought out diverse, specialized clinical rotations during her doctoral training to prepare for the broad scope of patient needs in Southwest Kansas. Her advanced clinical experience spanned pediatric development, dedicated care for military veterans, and specialized cochlear implant rehabilitation.

Today, that rigorous foundation directly benefits the local community:

By combining top-tier clinical training with a deep commitment to her home region, Dr. Chloe ensures that patients in Southwest Kansas have access to advanced, specialized hearing healthcare right in their own backyard.

Benefitting the Southwest Kansas Community

Serving Southwest Kansas Veterans:

Drawing on her specialized rotation at the Veterans Affairs (VA) health system, Dr. Bennett provides experienced, tailored care to local veterans, helping them navigate service-connected hearing challenges and specialized technology.

Cochlear Implant Program:

Bringing high-level specialty care close to home, she established a dedicated cochlear implant program at Ad Astra Audiology, allowing patients with severe-to-profound hearing loss to receive candidacy evaluations, activation, and ongoing programming without traveling long distances.

A Lifelong Professional Network:

The strong professional relationships established with otolaryngologists, surgeons, and fellow audiology specialists across the state during her training continue to serve as a valuable resource for collaborative, complex patient care.
